GDCC October Dining Out

Alex and Sherry Temple have made plans for the Club’s October Dinner Out which also includes an outing to the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio.    The date is:  Saturday, October 4th.

Agenda:

1:30 pm – Meet at the Caesar Creek Boat Ramp off OH 73 (south side of road – across from main entrance of Caesar Creek Marina).

1:40 pm – Depart Boat Ramp for a 20-minute caravan into Wilmington to World Equestrian Center.

2:00-3:00 pm – A WEC member will give us some history of WEC, fun facts about the Equestrian Sport, and a tour of their indoor facilities. 

3:00-5:00 pm – GDCC members will have time to get in the stands and enjoy the competitions, shop in WEC Village, and explore the grounds.

5:00 pm till ? – Dinner at the WEC’s Paddock Club.

The Paddock Club is one of two WEC restaurants.  Guests can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and elegant, equestrian inspired décor.  There is a full bar and intimate sitting areas complete with overstuffed leather sofas, broad coffee tables and saddle leather club chairs.  High top dinning tables are created from refurbished wine barrels with copper tops.  The Paddock Club also has an area dedicated to fun with pool tables, foosball, and shuffleboard.

There is no cost to enter the WEC or watch the events.
